TREI OPENS 32. VENDO PARK IN POLAND

Trei Real Estate GmbH just opened another retail park of its Vendo Park brand in Poland. It is located in Mielec, a small town of around 61,000 residents in the Podkarpackie or Subcarpathian voivodeship in south-eastern Poland.

MINISO OPENS IN FESTIVAL PLACE, ENGLAND

MINISO, the lifestyle product retailer offering high-quality household goods, cosmetics, food, and toys has signed a 10-year lease on 270 sq m at Basingstoke’s Festival Place. The new store, which opened on Saturday the 10th of December, is the thirteenth to open in the UK, the second in South East England and the first in Hampshire.

OVER 16,258 SQ M OF NEW DEALS AT MERRY HILL IN 2022 CAPPED OFF BY LIDS REGIONAL DEBUT

Sovereign Centros has announced the opening of Lids, a leading global retailer specialising in licensed sports and fashion-oriented headwear and apparel, at retail and leisure destination Merry Hill. The regional debut caps off a successful period, with more than 16,258 sq m of new deals secured in the calendar year at the destination.

TESSUTI MARKS ITS IRELAND DEBUT AT VICTORIA SQUARE

Victoria Square, the leading retail and leisure destination in Northern Ireland, is celebrating the official launch of fashion retailer Tessuti, marking its first flagship store in Ireland.

GRANTHAM DESIGNER OUTLET VILLAGE 30% LET AHEAD OF START ON SITE EARLY 2023

Rioja Estates has announced that 30 percent of the space being brought forward by the forthcoming Grantham Designer Outlet Village is now committed with 22 percent in legals. This places the East Midlands outlet center in a position ahead of the planned start on-site in the first quarter of 2023.

INTERSPORT KNUDSEN OPENS CONCEPT STORE AT WESTFIELD HAMBURG-ÜBERSEEQUARTIER, GERMANY

INTERSPORT Knudsen, a family business with roots in Northern Germany, will open an innovative concept store on almost 2,000 sq m in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier in spring 2024. With the sports retailer from the international INTERSPORT group, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is further expanding the sportswear segment of the future flagship destination.

MCARTHURGLEN ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH EATALY

The McArthurGlen Group, has announced the planned opening of the first outlet destination for Eataly’s concept. Opening its doors at Serravalle Designer Outlet near Milan in Summer 2023, the store will enhance McArthurGlen’s growing portfolio of food and beverage brands, offering guests a place to Eat, Shop and Learn, all under one roof.

FIM GROUP RECEIVES LEGALLY BINDING DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE LEZ 14 IN BAMBERG, GERMANY

The city of Bamberg has approved the development plan for the LEZ 14 shopping center on the “Am Laubanger” site. Thus the green light has been given to the FIM Group to convert the former retail park into a modern shopping center. The tenant mix of around 7,100 sq m of retail space includes Lidl, Rossmann, TK Maxx, Media Markt and Der Beck. The opening is planned for the first quarter of 2023.

FOUR NEW FLAGSHIPS FOR SEVEN DIALS´ NEAL STREET

Shaftesbury has announced the opening of four new flagship stores on Neal Street, Seven Dials. Minimalistic clothing brand, Absence of Colour, lifestyle brand, Rockett St George, independent watch retailer, Mr Jones Watches, and a creative activation run by community organisation, My Runway Group, have joined Seven Dials’ diverse array of brands, located in the heart of London’s West End.

CARVELA AND THE COSMETICS COMPANY STORE JOIN LONDON DESIGNER OUTLET

London Designer Outlet (LDO) has announced two new high-profile deals, with Carvela and The Cosmetics Company Store taking 155 sq m and 128 sq m of space respectively. The new stores will strengthen the womenswear and beauty offer at London’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet destination, an offering that has recently been reinforced through lettings and expansions by world-renowned brands such as Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.

OPENING: IT’S PARTY TIME IN QUARREE, GERMANY

On the 11th of November 2022, another owner-operated store opened in QUARREE with a unique concept: It’s Party Time offers creative accessories for cake and cupcake decorating, party table accessories and personalized gift baskets. Services include gift delivery by comic mascots, custom cakes and event organization.
