The new, urban concept will be specially tailored to the location. The store will contain special showroom elements and will be geared towards an event-based shopping experience through an atmospheric interior design. The assortment will have a focus on the areas of training, running and outdoor. It underlines the INTERSPORT way of promoting the societal trend towards sport, fitness and physical activity and actively advocates sport and health. A large kids’ area is also planned.
Knud Hansen, Managing Director at INTERSPORT Knudsen has stated: “The love of sport is our common drive in the INTERSPORT team. With the opening of our new flagship store, we also want to make our mark in this prime location for high-quality retail at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier: We want to set an example. Our large investment of around 2 million euros enables us to implement and shape the sports retail of the future on site.”
