Ted Baker, the global lifestyle brand, has signed a 10-year lease on 307 sq m at Basingstoke’s Festival Place. The new store will be located on the ground floor and stock Ted Baker’s full range of womenswear, menswear and accessories.

The winners of the retail competition First Store by ALEXA Vol. 4 – Academy Edition have been chosen: “SELLPY x ALEXA” is the concept for an innovative second-hand clothing store presentation in cooperation with the leading Swedish second-hand clothing brand Sellpy. The first offline presence in Germany of the online company will take place in ALEXA, Berlin.

Set to open later this year, the signing of Ted Baker takes Merry Hill to almost 13,000 sq m of new or enhanced space in 2022. This includes new signings, re-gears, refurbishments, and renewals, showcasing operator confidence in the leading location.

Trei Real Estate just sold a portfolio of seven convenience centres, which the company manages on behalf of the Molento family office, to MEAG. MEAG will add the properties to an institutional property fund. The properties are located in Bad Camberg (the Rhine-Main region), Hanover, Heidelberg, Mainz, Ruhpolding (Upper Bavaria), Weilersbach (Upper Franconia) and Zornheim (Rhine-Main region).
