Liquidator Launches Sale Of The Viennese “Lamarr” Real Estate Project

The property, including the building complex currently under construction, is being offered in a structured sales procedure. The construction project (“Lamarr” project) comprises a new hotel and premium department store, built on top of the existing underground parking garage. The mixed-use project is located on Mariahilfer Strasse, Vienna’s busiest shopping street. The shell of the building has been completed and the pre-assembly of the building services and conveyor systems has been completed.

“In the first phase of the insolvency proceedings, it was necessary to organize the continued safeguarding of the construction site. The structured sales process that has now been initiated is intended to find the best possible buyer and clarify the uncertainties that have existed for months regarding the future of the “Lamarr” project,” explains Clemens Richter.
