As Head of Sales, he will be responsible for the company’s strategic development and operational business in both markets going forward.
Schwarz brings 14 years of leadership experience across various roles at Primark. Most recently, as Commercial Manager, he oversaw commercial steering and cross-functional coordination between purchasing, marketing, and store operations, among other areas.
“Daniel Schwarz knows Primark, our teams, and the German and Austrian markets very well. Over the past few years, he has successfully guided important changes and shown a deep understanding of our business. I’m confident that, together with our colleagues, he will continue Primark’s positive momentum,” said Lisa Shannon, Retail Director at Primark.
Schwarz succeeds Sandra Luxem-Bremen, who has left the company by mutual agreement to pursue new professional opportunities. “I’d like to thank Sandra Luxem-Bremen for the great collaboration and her contribution to Primark’s transformation process, and I wish her all the best for the future,” Shannon added.
In his new role, Schwarz will continue driving sustainable growth for the business in Germany and Austria. His focus will be on strong stores, a consistent customer-first approach, and further strengthening Primark’s brand promise of current fashion and good quality at affordable prices.
“I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to the new role. Germany and Austria are strategically important markets for Primark, and we see significant potential here. Together with our dedicated team, we’ll strengthen our presence in both markets and keep improving our offering and the shopping experience in our stores,” said Daniel Schwarz.
