Sonae Sierra wins services contract for Prishtina Mall

Sierra has closed an agreement with the owners of Prishtina Mall, the newest shopping center set to shortly open in Kosovo, to provide consultancy services for the retail and entertainment scheme.

Covering 239,000 sq m and with a GLA of 115,000 sq m, as well as offering parking for over 3,500 cars, Prishtina Mall will be the biggest shopping and entertainment mall in South-East Europe. Sierra will provide consultancy services with regard to the tenant mix and operational aspects of the center, including consultancy on the mall activation.

Cristina Santos, Managing Director of Property Management of Sonae Sierra, said: “We are delighted to see our decades of experience in leasing, managing, and activating retail spaces once again paid off with this substantial contract. Our considerable knowledge of the international retail landscape means that we remain a far-sighted partner to have, especially when developing innovative concepts like Prishtina Mall. This dynamic retail and leisure destination will change the city for good.”

Situated at the intersection of the M2 and M25 highways south of the capital city’s downtown, Prishtina Mall will host a variety of internationally-branded anchors and tenants, including fashion and furniture stores, a multiplex cinema, children’s play center, multiple restaurants, and sector leading entertainment venues, with an extensive food court and dining terrace, over three and a half levels.

Recognized for its eco-friendly structure, accessibility, and modern architecture, Prishtina Mall has already attracted many international plaudits. Including the 5 Star Best Retail Architecture Award at the International Property Awards.
