Realignment of the ara-Group

After intensive examination, the Group has decided to focus exclusively on the original brand of the same name, “ara Shoes”.

A strategic partner is being sought for the further development of the premium brand LLOYD, which has been part of the Group for 25 years. Therefore, a targeted and focused dialogue with potential investors will be conducted in the coming months.

As the market leader in the premium segment of men’s shoes in German-speaking countries as well as in foreign markets such as Denmark or the Baltic States, LLOYD stands for first-class craftsmanship, selected materials, excellent fits and timeless and trendy design.
The aim is to further strengthen the positioning, to expand the product portfolio especially for the younger target group and to take the next step of internationalization especially to France and China. In the future, the focus will be placed more strongly on women’s shoes in addition to the strong expertise in the men’s shoe segment.
In 2022, LLOYD was able to show high double-digit growth. In the first five months of the current year, ara also continued its growth development.
