Gerrit Jacob has opened his very first pop-up store

For this premiere, the German designer has chosen Berlin.

The venue is the P100, a conceptual place for art and culture. On 150 sq m, the Hamburg-born designer presents pieces from his collections as well as a capsule specially designed for this pop-up. Inspired by his work, the walls and the floor were decorated with his well-known airbrush style: a huge, spray-painted blue dragon forms the centerpiece.

The fashion designer completed his master’s degree at the renowned Central Saint-Martins University in London. Before returning to Germany in 2021, he worked for international fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Gucci and learned the processes of luxury brands. After founding his own label, success was not long in coming: International stars from the film and music scene quickly became fans of Gerrit Jacob’s unique airbrushed leather pieces. Cult stores such as Highsnobiety, LN-CC, SSense as well as retailers in Asia are already selling his artistic garments.
