Company anniversary and first store opening in Zurich

In the anniversary year, the first own store in Zurich has opened near the luxurious shopping mile, Bahnhofsstrasse, at Rennweg 57.

“We are very pleased to now have our own store in Zurich, which is such an important location for us; an important further step for HANRO to be present with a store in all major international cities,” comments Hanro Managing Director Stephan Hohmann on the opening.

For the Swiss market, the company is represented by Martin Mühlethaler as Managing Director. “I am honored to accompany this milestone. Zurich, as an international fashion center, offers the ideal backdrop for HANRO,” says Mühlethaler.

HANRO was founded in 1884 in Liestal, Switzerland, by Albert Handschin and Carl Ronus. The company is known for nightwear, loungewear and lingerie of the highest quality and timeless design. Since 1991, HANRO has been part of the Huber Group based in Götzis, Austria. The production site in Austria is certified according to the latest Global Organic Textile Standard (G.O.T.S.) for sustainability.
Production is “Made in Europe” – almost 85% of the fabrics are manufactured in the company’s own fabric production facility in Austria. In addition to Austria, HANRO also sources yarns from Switzerland and Italy. Production takes place in the company’s own sewing facility in Portugal.
