Carina Weyringer graduated from the five-year tourism college in Bad Gleichenberg with a focus on marketing and management and started her professional career in the tourism industry as a receptionist in a hotel in Graz. The SES career of the Graz native began in September 2006 when she joined the MURPARK Graz team as office manager. In March 2009, she moved to MURPARK Marketing, where she eventually took over as Head of Marketing. She knows the hotel from the ground up, has been involved in all renovations and openings and has gained a lot of experience for her new role.
The long-standing center manager Edith Münzer is taking her well-deserved retirement after 30 successful years of service. Under her leadership, MURPARK Graz became one of the most successful shopping malls operated by SES Spar European Shopping Centers. She originally studied to become a teacher of geography, economics and German, but switched to business after her practical training. In August 1994, she joined the SPAR branch in Graz in the expansion department.
With the start of project planning for the new MURPARK in 2001, she played a key role in the development of the new shopping location in Graz. With the opening of MURPARK in March 2007, Edith Münzer took over the center management – a position she has successfully held to this day and has embodied with heart and soul over the years. Under her leadership, the center also received the ICSC Shopping Center Award in Stockholm in 2013 as an important international award. In 2018, a successful expansion of MURPARK Graz by 6,500 sq m was put into operation. With the start of her retirement, Edith Münzer has been part of the SPAR Group for almost 30 years to the day.
