Amazon Europe’s luxury division enters the resale market via HEWI

Following the example of What Goes Around comes Around in America, the HEWI (Hardly Ever Worn It) cooperation with the e-commerce platform Amazon Europe is now starting.

It is the first time that beloved luxury fashion accessories can be purchased on the website in the UK, Spain, Germany and Italy.

”We’re always looking to innovate and engage with our diverse customers, and launching pre-owned goods allows us to do just that, whilst also creating an opportunity for us to offer our customers accessible luxury,” said Ruth Dias, VP, Amazon Fashion Europe, in a statement.

A further step after the attempt to offer luxury items online in 2020. Although Amazon is now one of the largest retailers for clothing, other providers such as Net-a-Porter were more popular in this segment.
