The Vintage Store signs for 1,115 sq m at Liverpool One

Grosvenor announces the signing of The Vintage Store at Liverpool ONE. Set to open at the end of May, the Liverpool ONE site will be clothing retailer’s largest to date, occupying a 1,115 sq m space.

The store will feature the brand’s signature collection of affordable vintage clothing, including popular sportswear retailers Adidas, Nike, and Champion. With sustainability at its core, The Vintage Store was borne out of a drive to reuse, recycle, and rework preloved clothes.

Alison Clegg, Managing Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor, commented: “The Vintage Store is the perfect fit for Liverpool ONE. Its position as a sustainability-focused operator reiterates Liverpool ONE’s ambition to be a center for environmentally conscious and responsible brands. We look forward to becoming the home of their largest location to date and anticipate the local community being equally excited to have affordable, vintage fashion on its doorstep.”

Phil Waltham, The Vintage Store, added, “Liverpool’s fashion, music, and indie scene is one that I’ve always admired and it’s this rich tapestry that establishes the city as the perfect cultural setting for The Vintage Store. Liverpool ONE is a prime destination which offers the opportunity to undertake our biggest expansion yet and we look forward to increasing accessibility to sustainable fashion.”

With established stores in Newcastle, Sheffield, York, and Hull, The Vintage Store continues to expand its influence across key Northern locations with the latest opening in Liverpool. As a 100% sustainable high street brand, the retailer is founded on the belief that shopping habits need to be remolded into a cyclical format, and that re-selling second-hand clothing is at the core of this change.
