Shopping 4.0 at new “Innovation Space” in Hamburg

How will we shop in the future? Online or in a store? Both? _blaenk (German retail start up) wants to find out the answers to this question live at Jungfernstieg in Hamburg–in collaboration with Vodafone.

Since Black Friday, _blaenk’s “Innovation Space” has been open, directly in the entrance area of the Vodafone flagship store. On about 15 sq m, a selected lifestyle brand is presented regularly, addressing local but also megatrends.

The first brand to be exhibited is the Hamburg-based company Stryve with its innovative lifestyle and sports products. Visitors can test the products on site, get online or analog advice, pay via self-checkout, take the goods directly with them or have them delivered home: everything digitally networked. _blaenk calls this “hybrid shopping,” where the online and offline worlds merge.

“Vodafone wants to respond to the changed behavior of our customers, break new ground and starts in Hamburg with the innovative partner concept of _blaenk. We look forward to creating new incentives for our customers,” says Natalie Nast, Sales Marketing Management, Vodafone GmbH.
