SES HEADQUARTERS WITH FOUR NEW HEADS OF DIVISION

As of January 1, 2023, Austria’s market-leading shopping center operator SES Spar European Shopping Centers has promoted employees from its own ranks to management positions: Mag. Petra Hemetsberger takes over as Head of Asset Management, Roland Gruber is Head of the Construction Department, and Nina Wolfgruber, MA is responsible for the newly created Business Process Management Department. As of November 1, 2022, the responsibility for the Legal Department has already been in the hands of Thomas Frauenlob, LLB.oec.

Mag. Petra Hemetsberger, who holds a degree in Economics, started her career at SES in 2011 as an asset manager and contact person for external investors. In this function, she gained experience as a project manager in large, international equity financing projects of SES, and conducted Due-Diligence-processes for real estate transactions as well as real estate valuations. While working, the certified asset manager completed a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics and graduated from IREBS in Munich, Germany. After a two-year maternity leave, Petra Hemetsberger has returned to SES in 2021. She now takes over as the Head of Asset Management from the SES CFO Dr. Johannes Köth, who had headed the division himself since 2011.

A native of Salzburg, Roland Gruber started in the Spar Group in 2000 as Head of Building Technology at EUROPARK Salzburg. In 2009, Gruber moved to the headquarters of SES and has since been responsible for the Building Technology Department. As an experienced HVAC specialist, he brings a great deal of technical expertise to the table and can look back on successful steps in plant construction and major projects. The trained technical draftsman has developed for SES, among other things, the patented dynamic fresh air supply system, which is used for the air conditioning of the group’s shopping centers. Gruber now assumes overall responsibility for the Construction Project Management of all new and refurbished SES shopping malls and retail parks in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, and Hungary. He takes over the position from Alexander Eck, who joined the SES Management Board as Chief Development Officer on January 1, 2023.

As Head of Business Process Management, Nina Wolfgruber, MA, has been leading all projects relating to the digitization and standardization of processes in the six countries SES has been operating in since January 1, 2023, forming a significant new interface in the development and implementation of IT projects. Born in Salzburg, she began her career as a golfer after graduating from the Federal Business College. After professional positions as an authorized procurator and store operator, Nina Wolfgruber started her career at SES as Head of Office Management and as an assistant to the center manager in the EUROPARK team. In 2017, she moved to the SES headquarters as an assistant to the manager of the Center Management Division. Since 2021, the certified project manager has managed numerous special projects as an assistant to the COO. Meanwhile, she has completed the master’s program in Criminal Law, Business Criminal Law, and Criminology at Danube University Krems in 2018.

As early as November 1, 2022, Thomas Frauenlob, LLB.oec. took over the management of the Legal Department and has been since responsible for all legal matters within the SES Group. Frauenlob graduated from the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg with a degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics. In 2012, he started in the legal department of SES Spar European Shopping Centers, where – with a short interruption for a court internship in 2015 – he has been able to gain extensive experience. His expertise also includes advising on legal matters of the 30 SES shopping destinations in six countries.
