The online platform yip.at supports stationery companies in two ways: On the one hand, it rewards creative business ideas with a total funding amount of 10,000 euros. On the other hand, it offers a particularly attractive prize for imaginative companies in the form of a free promotion space for up to six days in one of 15 SES shopping centers in Austria. Applications for the business promotion in September 2023 are now open for companies registered on yip.at.
Winning promotion space in an SES shopping center
Now, SES is going one step further: SES not only gives businesses the opportunity to present themselves online, but also provides them with a promotional space in one of 15 SES shopping centers in Austria for a period of up to six days. This increases visibility many times over and is an enormous opportunity for companies to be noticed by a large target audience.
“We support the idea of promoting the visibility of stationery companies together with our centers. By submitting an entry for the yip.at business promotion, entrepreneurs demonstrate how creative the stationary sector in Austria is, regardless of whether they are located in shopping streets, city centers, in the Grätzl around the corner or in shopping centers”, explains Christoph Andexlinger, CEO of SES.
The submission via the platform www.yip.at is done in a few minutes and is possible immediately, the registration on yip.at is free of charge. The selection of the three winners for the business funding totaling 10,000 euros (5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 euros each) and the prize of free promotional space in one of the SES shopping centers for up to six days will be made by a jury of experts and institutions in a two-stage process. The yip.at community can also vote via social media.
These were the winning companies in 2022
At the beginning of November 2022, three outstanding business ideas were awarded the “yip.at business promotion” for the third time. First place went to “Chary Chic” from Kematen am Innbach – a company specializing in upcycling and vintage furniture. Second place went to the Salzburg macramé store “Wild.Knots”, and third place was secured by the specialist bookshop “Krimi Helden”, also from Salzburg.
