The international textile discounter is considering divesting about one-sixth of its stores in Germany. According to Immobilien Zeitung, this would mean the closure of almost 400 locations in the country. After a careful review based on thorough economic considerations, Kik decided to proceed with this approach for the sake of “responsible and forward-looking” business strategy.

Nonetheless, KiK is continuing to develop and invest in in strong existing markets, including opening new stores domestically, as well as abroad.
