BIG CEE to Open Serbia’s First Lifestyle Retail Park – BIG Čačak

BIG CEE will officially open Serbia’s first lifestyle retail park – BIG Čačak – on September 18. Covering 16,500 sq m and representing an investment of €25 million, the project introduces a diverse mix of well-known domestic and international brands, along with leisure and entertainment facilities designed for all generations.

The lifestyle retail park is a contemporary format that blends shopping, dining, and entertainment in an open-air urban environment. Unlike traditional retail parks that primarily consist of stores and large parking areas, this concept features spacious pedestrian walkways, rest and social zones, a wide F&B offering, and a cinema equipped with state-of-the-art auditoriums. With a broader range of stores and brands not typically found in retail parks, BIG Čačak delivers a dynamic experience that goes far beyond conventional shopping.

From the very start, BIG Čačak brings added value to the local community. In addition to recognized names such as Fashion&Friends, Beosport, Buzz, Dexy Co, Gigatron, Lisca and many others, the center is also introducing brands appearing in Čačak for the first time – including Pandora, Cinegrand cinema and New Yorker – while IKEA is expanding its offer southern from Belgrade for the very first time. With extensive parking, landscaped promenades, a playground, cinema, and social spaces, BIG Čačak is set to transform how residents of the city – and the wider region – experience shopping and leisure. In early 2026, center will welcome two global fast-food giants – McDonald’s and KFC – making BIG Čačak an even more attractive destination for all generations.

With BIG Čačak, our network expands to 18 locations across Serbia and Montenegro (16 in Serbia and 2 in Montenegro), and by the end of the year, with the opening of BIG Šabac and BIG Bor, we will reach a total of 20 centers.”

The grand opening in Čačak will be marked by a full-day program featuring live music, performances, family activities, and entertainment, followed by a themed weekend celebration. This way, Čačak is gaining more than just a new shopping destination – it is becoming a place for connection, leisure, and shared experiences.
