Gerry Weber Closes All Stores And Sells Trademark Rights To Spanish Fashion Company

The insolvent fashion company Gerry Weber is closing all its stores, with Spanish retailer Victrix taking over the German brand.

After more than 50 years on the market, Gerry Weber is closing all of its remaining own stores in Germany and Europe, including around 40 stores and other outlets abroad, which are about to be sold off.

The shutdown is the result of the third insolvency proceedings within a few years, which were opened in March 2025. Up to now, the attempts to turn the company around through restructuring were ultimately unsuccessful.

Going forward, the new brand owner, who also owns the fashion brand Punto Roma, plans to take charge of production and sell Gerry Weber women’s fashion in Germany via retail partners who also have other brands in their range. The new owner will also be responsible for designing future collections.
