Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield wins big at PRCH Retail Awards in Warsaw

At the XVI PRCH Retail Awards, the industry awards gala of the Polish Council for Shopping Centres, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has received 5 Gold Awards, including honours for individual executives as well as for the company’s ESG strategy and its flagship destination Westfield Arkadia in Warsaw.

During the PRCH Retail Awards gala, three URW team members were recognised for their exceptional achievements and dedication to the daily operations of URW’s centres in Poland:

Małgorzata Woźniak – General Manager of the Year (Wroclavia, Wrocław)
Jagoda Najwer – Marketing Manager of the Year (Wroclavia, Wrocław)
Grzegorz Mindewicz – Technical Manager of the Year (Westfield Arkadia, Warsaw)

Shopping destinations for people and for sustainability

Westfield Arkadia, URW’s flagship shopping and lifestyle destination in Warsaw, was awarded for its successful re-tenanting strategy, which not only resulted in full occupancy but also enhanced customer experience, improved asset performance, and attracted new visitors to the centre.

For the 4th consecutive year, URW’s Polish assets were recognised for achievements in implementing a comprehensive ESG strategy. This year, Westfield Arkadia and Westfield Mokotów, also located in Warsaw, showcased how URW integrates sustainability through the Better Places Certification.

To assess and promote the sustainability performance of URW’s retail assets, the Group developed the Better Places Certification, the first comprehensive sustainable standard for shopping centres that covers all environmental and social dimensions.
