TEMU reports over 115 million monthly EU users

The marketplace giant Temu averaged 115,7 million monthly active users across the EU during the first half of 2025, which marks a stunning 50% year-on-year growth.

Classified as a “very large online platform”, Temu has successfully complied with stricter EU regulations since May 2024, using processes such as automated content moderation, algorithmic product safety controls, and multilingual human review. The European Commission is now seeking more detailed insights into how effective measures are.
