NEINVER unveiled the new image of Las Rozas The Style Outlets, a well-established outlet centre in the northwest of Madrid and the first outlet ever developed in Spain. The €3 million refurbishment delivers a step-up in design, functionality and customer experience, while further reinforcing the appeal of the scheme for brands.

A major expansion is underway at EUROPARK Salzburg, Austria’s leading shopping destination. Construction preparations began in October on the site currently occupied by the parking area between EUROPARK and the SPAR headquarters in Taxham. The new extension will be built above the existing underground garage, with structural work scheduled to start in January 2026 – all without any disruption to ongoing operations at the center.

The major development by NEPI Rockcastle, one of Europe’s industry leaders, is currently the CEE region’s largest retail project. The extension is underway and on schedule with an investmnet budget of approximately €300M and a grand opening planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Redevco, one of Europe’s largest privately owned real estate managers, has completed its second loan investment, underscoring the growing momentum for its real estate debt business just six months after closing its debut deal. The €67 million loan will fund the acquisition and development of two Class A Mid-Box Logistics projects in Frankfurt and Karlsruhe, with a combined area of 63,000 sqm, by the Invesco Real Estate and Propel Industrial joint venture.

Malmö Designer Village is an upcoming premium outlet village in Löddeköpinge, Sweden, uniquely positioned to serve both Swedish and Danish markets. Now under the leadership of FREY Group (following the acquisition of the project from UK developer Rioja Estates in 2024), it marks FREY’s first outlet development and a significant expansion of its open-air retail portfolio. Over 3.8 million visitors within 90-minutes and 10+ million tourists fall within its reach, including the major population centers of southern Sweden and the Copenhagen metropolitan area. With all necessary planning permissions secured and no objections, construction began in mid-2024.

BIG CEE has signed a financing agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worth 100 million euros. BIG CEE will use the funds for its development in the Balkans to build three new retail parks in Serbia, further expanding its network. In addition, part of the funds will be allocated to refinancing two existing retail parks.

ECE Work & Live is developing a “Ruby” brand hotel in Copenhagen for the first time. This is also the Ruby Group’s first location in Denmark. The announcement follows the recent signing of a long-term lease agreement between ECE as project developer and Ruby Group as operator for the planned hotel building in the Frederiksberg district in the heart of Copenhagen.

The renovation and modernization process at the KING CROSS Zagreb shopping center has reached a significant stage of development: on 27 February, the part of the mall that has been completely renovated and modernized in recent months while business operations continued reopened.

Owned and managed by VIA Outlets, Sevilla Fashion Outlet is not only an outstanding retail destination within Spain, but all over Europe. The remodelling of the outlet center that was finished at the end of 2023 has contributed to a large increase in visitor numbers and brand sales at the location, and continues to inspire the industry, as can be seen by its position as a finalist for ‘Best Refurbishment and Expansion Project’ at the 2024 MAPIC Awards.
