Silvio Kirchmair joins Across Advisory Board

Silvio Kirchmair, born in 1961, studied business administration and economics at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz after graduating from technical college. After the completion of his studies he held several management positions at nationally and internationally operating companies, including Internorm Fenster AG, Actual Fenster AG, Constantia Industries AG as well as the Hoerbirger Group, where he most recently was the sole director of Hoerbiger Ventilwerke GmbH & Co KG. In 2013, Kirchmair joined the board of the Umdasch Group AG where he was responsible for the shopfitting division (until 2015). Since then he has been the CEO of umdasch The Store Makers, one of the leading European companies for commercial facilities and digital solutions at the point of sale.

In his interview with ACROSS he emphasized that,”umdasch The Store Makers deals with more than just the classic design, production, and assembly of shopfitting furnishings. We are a project management company that is exclusively dedicated to one goal–the realization of successful stores.“

The board currently consists of 20 members

The ACROSS Advisory Board’s declared aim is to offer its expertise in topic identification and formulation. The board currently has 20 members. There will be a semi-annual discussion process whereby the advisory board identifies the challenges and opportunities the industry faces and what burning problems and emerging trends they see.
