The number from 2025 exceeds the previous record high of 15 million achieved in 2024 by 10%
Alberto Esguevillas, CEO UK Retail at Eurofund Group, commented: “These record footfall figures and strong growth are testament to a strategy which has delivered a marked increase in the quality, variety and number of brands joining us over the past 12-18 months. Having responsed to the needs of the local and wider catchment, Silverburn is now the leading destination for retail, F&B and leisure in Scotland”
Glasgow’s premier shopping and leisure destination has issued its latest performance figures covering 2025, which showed significant progress following the momentum of recent years. Other key metrics include a 20% increase in footfall for the pre-Christmas trading week versus 2024, and a strong sales performance across all categories and sectors throughout the centre.
In the past year, Silverburn welcomed brands such as Bershka, Hollister, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Haribo and Wingstop, H Beauty, Black Sheep Coffee, Jo Malone and King Pins. In the past three years of ownership, the joint venture has attracted a host of new occupiers and converted a 20% vacancy rate into near full occupancy.
These figures cap off a very successful year for Silverburn, being named the ‘Retail Destination of the Year’ at this year’s SCEPTRE Awards and recognised as ‘Asset Management Initiative of the Year’ at the recent REVO Awards.
