Held on June 11–12, 2025, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the 20th edition of SIEC – the Retail and Commercial Property Trade Show – marked a defining moment in the event’s history. Sold out and more dynamic than ever, the show gathered over 100 exhibitors and 4,400 participants, with retail brands and managers making up over 60% of attendees. Under the unifying theme “Together”, SIEC 2025 underscored the sector’s commitment to connection, transformation, and progress.
Top commercial real estate firms – including CBRE, JLL, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank, Savills, Newmark, and EOL Commerce – were all in attendance, reflecting the show’s elevated stature and industry significance.
A Fresh Format for a New Era
With over 1,000 sq m of additional space, this year’s SIEC introduced themed pavilions dedicated to today’s key challenges: urban and regional development, marketing and data, service innovation, and leisure. Interactive zones, cutting-edge solutions, and experiential formats offered new opportunities for dialogue, discovery, and collaboration.
Highlights included the newly launched Esplanade, a space designed to foster informal networking, and a revamped Food Market, which enhanced the visitor experience with a diverse culinary offering. The redesigned Business Lounge and Club Enseignes, developed in partnership with PROCOS, also played a vital role in driving engagement.
“Together” – A Theme that Resonates
At a time of profound change, the theme “Together” struck a powerful chord. It emphasized the growing shift toward multi-use, socially vibrant retail spaces that prioritize experience, design, and community life. From city centres to regional developments, retail is becoming a tool to revitalize communities and foster social connections, rather than just a transactional environment.
Christophe Noël, General Delegate of FACT, summarized the show’s ambition: “SIEC 2025 has once again proved itself to be the go-to platform for everyone involved in retail and retail property. More than a trade show, it’s a driver of innovation and partnerships – helping transform retail spaces into places that are more open, responsible, and community-focused.”
A Catalyst for Innovation and Industry Dialogue
This milestone edition not only reflected the past two decades of evolution but also redefined the future. With a broader range of profiles—including public-sector leaders, marketing professionals, and site managers – SIEC 2025 confirmed its role as a vital hub for retail transformation.
As retail spaces continue to evolve, SIEC stands at the forefront, bringing the industry together to shape the future – united, inspired, and ready for what’s next.
