Shelley Sandzer promotes Tony Levine to Director of Leasing

Shelley Sandzer has promoted Tony Levine to Director of Leasing. Tony will work alongside joint-Managing Partner, Ted Schama, in representing leading landlords in securing new F&B and leisure brands for their destinations.

Since joining Shelley Sandzer in 2016, Tony has acted for numerous clients, such as Landsec, Lendlease, Shaftesbury Estate, Hines and Portman Estate.  An e-sports specialist, Tony has also helped Wanyoo launch in the UK, and is currently assisting the brand with its expansion plans.

Prior to joining Shelley Sandzer, Tony worked for Altus Group, as well as stints with BNP Paribas, DTZ and CBRE following his graduation from the University of the West of England and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor.

Having worked at Shelley Sandzer for over five years, alongside a vast period of agency experience including time working as a surveyor for both Currell Group and Altus Group, Tony’s knowledge of the industry has grown exponentially, and he has developed specific expertise within the field.

Tony is the co-founder of Kaji London.  As a devout foodie, his passion for the culinary arts is evidenced through his personal food blog reviewing upcoming Asian restaurants in the capital.  Tony also sits on the committee of the Leisure Property Forum Extra, coordinating networking events throughout the year for next generation leisure professionals.

Ted Schama, Joint Managing Partner at Shelley Sandzer, comment: “Tony is a real asset to Shelley Sandzer.  His passion for the industry has shone over the past five years and this is a great opportunity for him to apply his expertise at a new level. As a hardworking, professional and innovative individual, I have every confidence Tony will thrive in this new role and continue Shelley Sandzer’s growth.”

Tony Levine added: “Despite the challenges, this is an exciting time for the market, and one full of potential for like-minded landlords and operators.  My new role will allow me to work closely with our clients to realise such opportunities, successfully evolving destinations to reflect the significant changes in consumer preferences and the impact that has had on demand.”

Alongside Tony Levine’s promotion, newcomer Josh Hart has joined Shelley Sandzer, kickstarting his professional career following a passion for the property and hospitality industries.  Josh will work across the Shelley Sandzer business as he completes his training.

Shelley Sandzer has had a very strong first half of the year, with highlights including signing Five Guys for its City flagship, securing the London debut of Takumi, signing a second London location for Gordon Ramsay’s Street Burger, sourcing the first permanent site for lockdown success, Sidechick, and relocating the revered Peruvian restaurant Andina to Spitalfields.
