Weimar///Germany — Saller Group continues its expansion with the acquisition of Einkaufszentrum Wust in Brandenburg an der Havel and the Flensburg Galerie in Flensburg, further strengthening its presence in the German retail market.
With Einkaufszentrum Wust, previously held within the ECE platform, Saller increases its footprint in Brandenburg to 33 retail properties. The hybrid scheme offers around 38,700 sq m of leasable space across approximately 45–47 units and attracts steady daily footfall. Anchored by tenants such as Kaufland, Toom and Expert, the center benefits from a strong convenience focus, with around 40% of income generated by daily-needs retailers. Its extensive parking provision and large catchment area further reinforce its role as a dominant regional retail destination.
The acquisition of the Flensburg Galerie from Trigon Immobilien Holding adds a prime inner-city asset in Schleswig-Holstein, where Saller now holds 16 properties. Located in Flensburg’s main shopping district, the center offers more than 24,500 sq m of space and benefits from strong footfall, supported by cross-border demand from Denmark.
In recent years, the asset has undergone a successful repositioning, with occupancy rising to above 95% following a period of elevated vacancy during the pandemic. This was achieved through active leasing, tenant reshuffling, and the integration of new concepts, including leisure and service-oriented uses alongside traditional retail. Architecturally, the scheme stands out for integrating a historic 400-year-old building into its modern design. With a stabilised income base and continued leasing momentum, the property offers both security and further asset management potential. Saller intends to take over operational management and continue to optimise the tenant mix.
