RivingtonHark appoints new Portfolio Director

RivingtonHark bolsters asset management and investment capabilities with new portfolio director Ilan Goldman.

RivingtonHark, the UK’s leading independent specialist in shopping centers and urban regeneration, has announced the appointment of Ilan Goldman as Portfolio Director. The move further strengthens the business’ capabilities as it continues to expand its asset management platform and actively pursues new shopping centre investment acquisitions across the UK.

With over 30 years of experience Ilan has built a strong track record of delivering value across shopping centre, mixed-use and regeneration projects. He specializes in unlocking asset potential through innovative repositioning strategies that drive growth.

Some of Ilan’s most notable projects include securing planning consent for the redevelopment of St John’s Shopping Centre in Preston into a modern mixed-use destination with 500 new homes, an NHS health hub, and F&B space. He also led the successful delivery of a significant educational campus for Kendal College within Westmorland Shopping Centre as part of a wider asset transformation program.

Alongside helping the business fulfill its mandate to acquire more shopping centre assets Ilan’s portfolio will include Liverpool St John’s shopping centre, an asset owned in joint venture, as well as Palace Gardens and Exchange Enfield, managed on behalf of DWS.

Mark Harvey, Executive Director and Head of Asset Management at RivingtonHark, said: “Ilan is an exceptionally experienced and driven professional, and we are delighted to welcome him to RivingtonHark. His proven ability to deliver asset-led strategies that create value across our core markets will be a valuable addition to our team. Ilan’s expertise, combined with our capital capability and market knowledge, strengthens our position to identify, acquire and enhance assets, driving further growth across our portfolio.”

Ilan Goldman, Portfolio Director at RivingtonHark, added: “I have known David Lewis and RivingtonHark for over 15 years and have long admired their entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and impressive track record of delivering high-profile projects across the UK. The opportunity to join the team at such an exciting stage of their growth was one I could not pass up. As the business continues to expand its assets under management and acquire new shopping centers across the UK, I am excited to contribute to its ongoing success. I look forward to leveraging my knowledge and experience to help drive the business forward and play a meaningful role in its next phase of growth.”
