QTU Albania posts strong growth with Shopping Fest 2026 performance

QTU, well-known as Albania’s first and most popular shopping center, celebrates a record-breaking Shopping Fest 2026.

Tirana///Albania – ACREM’s shopping mall Qendra Tregtare Univers (QTU) near Tirana, reinforces its leading position in the country’s retail market following the successful performance of its Shopping Fest 2026 campaign. Results show significant year-on-year growth compared to 2025, underlining the center’s continued relevance and appeal.

During the campaign period, QTU recorded a 33.79% increase in footfall, while tenants reported an average turnover growth of around 40%, highlighting strong commercial impact. On the digital side, the campaign generated over 14 million views, marking a 53% increase compared to the previous year.

A key driver behind this performance was a shift in communication strategy. Moving beyond traditional formats, QTU adopted a more trend-driven and audience-focused approach, resulting in more engaging, organic, and widely shared content. The campaign evolved into a widely recognized phenomenon, amplified by popular entertainment figures and resonating strongly with contemporary audiences.

Developed by BALFIN Group and opened in 2005, QTU marked a turning point in Albania’s retail landscape. Today, with a gross leasable area of 29,000 sqm and approximately 8.2 million annual visitors, the center continues to serve as a key destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Albania.
