Action Accelerates Expansion in Germany and Across Europe

Dutch non-food discounter Action is ramping up its growth strategy, opening its 600th store in Germany and continuing to expand rapidly across Europe.

Dutch discount retailer Action continues to push forward with its aggressive expansion strategy, particularly in Germany. According to a report by Lebensmittel Zeitung, the company sees significant growth potential in the German market. CEO Hajir Hajji has announced plans to maintain the current pace of expansion throughout the year.

A key milestone was recently reached with the opening of Action’s 600th German store in Bremen-Hemelingen. The new location underscores the company’s steady and wide-reaching growth since entering the German market over 15 years ago. Last year alone, Action added 59 new stores to its German network.

Action’s expansion is not limited to Germany. The company is also growing strongly across Europe, now operating a total of 3,043 stores in 13 countries.
