New Yorker posts record profit, expands store network

New Yorker’s net profit more than doubled to €679.6m in FY2025 as revenue rose 13% to nearly €3.6bn, with the German fashion retailer now operating 1,335 stores in 48 countries.

German fashion retailer New Yorker closed fiscal year 2025 with revenue up 13% to nearly €3.6bn, while net profit more than doubled, from €252.6m to €679.6m — a net margin of around 18.9%. The Braunschweig-based chain operated 1,335 stores across 48 countries at year-end, with more than 26,000 employees. For 2026, management expects modest revenue growth and continued, moderate expansion of the store network, though it anticipates a notably lower pretax result amid tougher market conditions and a lower trading margin.
