NEW YORKER expands to Greece

German fashion retailer NEW YORKER opened its first store in Greece on April 23, 2026, marking the brand’s entry into the Greek market with a 1,300 m² outlet in central Athens.

Athens///Greece – German fashion retailer NEW YORKER opened its first store in Greece, located at Stadiou 59 in central Athens. The four-floor, approximately 1,300 m² outlet marks the company’s entry into the Greek market and expands its international footprint to more than 45 countries.

The Braunschweig-based company currently operates over 1,300 stores and employs more than 26,000 people globally. Its retail offer is built around a portfolio of in-house brands including FSBN & FB SISTER, AMISU, SMOG, STUDIO 71, and LUCKY ATHLETES, positioned at the accessible end of the young fashion segment.

The Athens opening follows a period of internal restructuring at NEW YORKER, including changes to senior leadership and the launch of new product lines. The company has signaled that the Greek market entry is intended as a stepping stone for broader growth in Southeast Europe.
