Kaufland Rolls Out Multi-Carrier Parcel Stations Across Germany

Shoppers at around 40 Kaufland stores in Germany can now pick up, send, and return parcels from multiple courier services thanks to new myflexbox parcel stations that are part of a plan to expand to 300 locations by 2026.

Kaufland and Austrian logistics tech company myflexbox have installed parcel stations at approximately 40 Kaufland branches across Germany, with more being added every week. The stations stand out for their provider-agnostic approach: couriers including DPD, FedEx, GLS, and UPS can all deposit parcels for customers to collect. The service also supports sending and returning packages, making it a convenient all-in-one option for shoppers. The rollout is set to continue, with the partners aiming for up to 300 locations by the end of 2026.

“We want to make shopping with us as convenient as possible, enabling customers to run errands and access additional services while doing their groceries,” said René Wolf, Kaufland’s Managing Director for Leasing and Commercial Facility Management. “These open-access parcel stations add a valuable service to our existing offerings.”

Jonathan Grothaus, CEO and founder of myflexbox, called the collaboration a “revolution in everyday life,” citing benefits such as flexible parcel handling during shopping trips and reduced delivery traffic in cities. “Kaufland is the perfect partner for us: strong brand recognition, close connections to communities, and high-traffic locations ideal for joint growth.”
