Mülheim an der Ruhr///Germany – The transaction covers approximately 4,800 sq m of retail space at the heart of the center. The unit had previously been held under separate ownership and was not part of Eurofund and Signal Capital’s original acquisition of the RRZ. C&A and Deichmann remain at the location as key anchor tenants.
The acquisition marks a further step in the ongoing repositioning and redevelopment of Rhein-Ruhr Zentrum, and reinforces the partners’ long-term commitment to the asset and the German market.
With ownership and management now fully consolidated, Eurofund will be able to pursue more efficient and integrated asset management, leasing, and the execution of future capex measures across the entire scheme.

“Bringing the entire center under one ownership structure is an important milestone for the RRZ. It creates the foundation for more efficient management and supports our long-term vision for the transformation of this asset.”
Olaf Ley, CEO Retail Germany at Eurofund
The transaction also creates a simpler and more attractive ownership structure for tenants, partners, and future investment, further strengthening the momentum behind the center’s ongoing transformation.
Rhein-Ruhr Zentrum is currently undergoing a comprehensive repositioning process, with the aim of creating a future-oriented mixed-use destination for the Ruhr region.
