Launched on 12 July 2024, Le Big TamTam was envisioned as a dynamic food market spanning 2,000 sq m, bringing together five acclaimed Hamburg restaurateurs offering ramen, Mexican street food, Neapolitan pizzas, fried chicken, fish rolls, and a communal bakery, framed by a central bar, a performance stage, and a modern QR-code ordering system.
Despite its ambitious design high hopes, the food court soon encountered operational turbulence including technical issues, delayed opening, and financial instability among several partners.

Now the center management confirmed the temporary shutdown of Le Big TamTam, noting ongoing contractual negotiations with remaining vendors and plans to transform the concept, potentially with a single operator overseeing multiple food offerings. While it’s uncertain whether the Le Big TamTam brand will continue, management aims for a relaunch before the Christmas 2025 shopping circus.
