Christian Rhino (50), who was appointed as a member of the Board of Managing Directors by Helaba’s Board of Owners and Supervisory Board in March, will be assuming his position as Executive Vice President on 1 August 2020.
Following approval by the European and German banking supervisory authorities, he will take up his role on the Board of Managing Directors. As an Executive Vice President, Christian Rhino will hold the newly established position of Chief Information & Chief Operating Officer (CIO/COO). As soon as the supervisory authorities have given their approval, he will be responsible for the Information Technology, Operations and Organisation divisions on the Board of Managing Directors.
