Since the end of June 2023, the Ara Group, previously the owner of the Salamander brand since 2009, has been looking for investors for Lloyd and Salamander so that they can concentrate exclusively on Ara Shoes. An investor has now been found for Salamander, but they are still looking for one for Lloyd.
The new Salamander owner is behind Bagatt, the Italian shoe brand, and is the worldwide licence holder for the Daniel Hechter and Bugatti brands.
