Travel retail expertise from a single source
Smartseller relied on shopfitting solutions from umdasch The Store Makers to present its extensive range. In addition to the highest quality of planning and implementation, the focus was on efficient delivery and assembly to ensure ongoing operations were as pleasant as possible for passengers. The Store Makers therefore seamlessly handled all services, from furniture and catering equipment to the striking light sculptures. Close cooperation with the architects and partners resulted in an overall design that combines classic travel retail with an inviting atmosphere and moments of enjoyment.

Experience-oriented design with flexible functionality
The design created by Smartseller and implemented by umdasch is particularly impressive in highlights such as the spacious spa area, which houses the perfume and cosmetics range, and the central wine bar, which serves as the store’s social hub. The centrepiece furniture, designed to guide visitors through the store in the form of pleasure islands, can be flexibly combined and adapted to different product ranges and requirements. The wall area features the proven Basixx Family shelving system from umdasch – an elegant and functional solution for product presentation.

To create a harmonious lighting design, the Store Makers installed elliptical light fixtures and illuminated lettering to provide orientation and visual highlights. As soon as they enter the store, travellers are greeted by an impressive light sculpture that fills the room with atmosphere. Just a few steps further on, a fully equipped beer garden with an installation made of real beer barrels attracts attention — a charming homage to Franconian brewing culture.
