This October, the city of Turin will once again host one of Europe’s most forward-thinking urbanism events: the Utopian Hours Festival. Taking place from October 17 to 19, the festival will transform the city into a vibrant hub of ideas, innovation, and dialogue about the future of cities.
Utopian Hours brings together urban planners, architects, designers, policymakers, and curious citizens from around the globe. Organized by Stratosferica, a Turin-based collective dedicated to urban transformation, the festival presents a dynamic mix of talks, workshops, exhibitions, and interactive installations.
This year`s edition will once more explores how cities can respond to global challenges such as climate change, migration, digital transformation, and social inequality. Past speakers have included leading voices from institutions like MIT, the City of Amsterdam, Arup, and The New York Times, and this year promises a similarly diverse and visionary lineup.
The festival is hosted in the atmospheric setting of the La Centrale Lavazza, a former power station turned cultural venue, offering the perfect backdrop for conversations about bold urban futures.
More than just a conference: Utopian Hours offers an immersive experience that blurs the line between city-making and storytelling. Attendees can expect inspiring keynotes, immersive installations, and networking opportunities that foster real-world impact.
