Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany is Top Employer 2019

The certification is conferred globally to companies for outstanding employee orientation and innovative training programmes. The focus especially lies on two talent initiatives of the Group: The in-house Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Academy, which brings together young talents and experienced executives, as well as the international European Graduate Programme, that gives graduates the chance to gain experience in different business divisions and abroad.

“A successful talent management is the key for our long-term corporate success,” says Bruno Bittis, Director of Human Resources at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany. “The Top Employer certification is thus a precious approval of our efforts and at the same time a great incentive to be seen as one of the best employers all around Europe for years to come.“

Moreover, the European Graduate Programme of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Germany again receives the “Faires Trainee-Programm” award, which is conferred by trendence Institute for career-enhancing and fair trainee programmes on an annual basis.

One year, two countries, three missions – the twelve-month European Graduate Programme provides an opportunity for top graduates from European universities to get to know all core functions of the company – in 13 regions on two continents, among them Germany, several countries in Europe as well as the USA.

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Academy fosters the internal transfer of knowledge within the globally active corporate group by bringing together experienced employees with young talents. This includes all areas like hard and soft skills, IT, international networks etc.

Certified by Top Employer Institute

The Top Employer Institute has been awarding the best employers all over the world for already 25 years. As an independent certifier, it assesses companies on the basis of a global HR Best Practices survey. For that, 600 interns are interviewed about all important aspects in the area of Human Resources – for instance talent strategy, personnel planning, talent acquisition, onboarding or training and development. To gain the certification, companies have to fulfil the specific requirements of the Top Employer Institute.

David Plink, CEO at Top Employers Institute, says: “We believe that the 2019 Certified organisations demonstrate exceptional employee conditions and encourage the development of these practices by putting their people first. These companies help enrich the world of work with their outstanding dedication to HR excellence and because of this, they are recognised as an employer of choice.”

This year, Top Employers Institute has identified and certified over 1,500 Top Employers in 118 countries on five continents.
