Covid-19 crisis: Now what? Do we have a solution?

Or will we keep hiding behind our contracts? A discussion with landlords and tenants.

The arguments of all negotiating parties are exchanged and the respective associations support the “ping-pong of arguments” with expert opinions and position statements.

This is not an individual problem of specific contractual partners anymore. The discussion about lease payments in the context of Covid-19 is in full swing all over the world. However, there are no or very few solution approaches available.

  • How is that possible?
  • Is the situation too complex and complicated?
  • Is the factor time yet another accelerant for everybody’s already substantial uncertainty?

Haben wir eine Lösung ? … oder werfen wir weiter mit Paragraphen um uns ? – Mieter und Vermieter in der Diskussion…“

Die Argumente aller Verhandlungsparteien  sind ausgetauscht, auch die jeweils verantwortlichen Verbände unterstützen mit Gutachten und Stellungnahmen das „Argumente-Ping-Pong“.

Es ist kein individuelles Problem einzelner Vertragspartner mehr, denn zwischenzeitlich ist die Diskussion um die Problematik der Mietzahlung in Zusammenhang mit Covid-19 auch international und weltweit voll im Gange, aber … leider liegen keine oder zu wenige Lösungsansätze und Ideen vor.
