The Ivy Cardiff opened its doors at St David’s

The St David’s Partnership, owners of St David’s, Cardiff announced the opening of all-day brasserie, The Ivy Cardiff, marking The Ivy Collection’s debut restaurant in Wales.

The new two-floor 5,400 sq ft brasserie has a capacity of up to 284 guests, an outdoor seating area, and an elegant private dining room with views across The Hayes. Designed by an in-house team, the space includes bespoke interior elements, such as an ornamental dragon, reflecting the location in Cardiff. Bold and colourful prints, a feature tree, and comfortable soft furnishings complete The Ivy Cardiff’s unique style.

Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and intu, Kate Grant, Regional Managing Director for intu, said: “The launch of iconic British restaurant The Ivy Cardiff is a fantastic dining addition to St David’s, as we continue to attract leading national and international restaurants and retailers. The Ivy Cardiff’s global appeal and beautifully designed space will bring an added appeal for our visitors alongside the luxury brands already on The Hayes, with a truly refined day to evening dining offer that is not available anywhere else in the region.”

Baton Berisha, Managing Director at The Ivy Collection added: “The St David’s location is a stunning location for our first brasserie in Wales. We could not have been happier with the amazing response we have had since announcing the launch, and can’t wait for visitors to experience The Ivy in all its glory.”

This news follows the recent tenth anniversary for St David’s 2’, with internationally-renowned brands such as Levi’s®, Skechers, and Ted Baker opening new stores at the destination this year.  The St David’s Partnership dealt directly with The Ivy Collection.
