The first Decathlon opens in Prospekt shopping mall in Kyiv

In the spring of 2021 Prospekt shopping mall is planning another bright opening of a new tenant – the French brand Decathlon. This will be the first Decathlon residence on the left bank of Kyiv.

The area of the Decathlon store in Prospekt shopping mall will be almost 2000 sq.m. and customers will be offered a choice of products for tourism and sports. Decathlon is known as a global leader in sports retail, specializing in the development, production and retail of sporting goods for more than seventy sports. Decathlon’s mission is to make sports accessible to many by offering the largest range of sports products in one place, with the best value for money.

“In the media, you can read about the high social standards of work, service and ethical standards of Decathlon. As well as about its production facilities in Ukraine. That is, Decathlon, in addition to presenting a wide range of sporting goods, declares at the same time the values, motivates consumers to join an active lifestyle and presents fashion for sports. We share such approaches in cooperation with our partners and provide customers with a choice – according to style and preferences. With the opening of the Decathlon store, the Prospekt shopping mall’s gallery will also become the most sporty one,” said Denys Kornuta, director of the Arricano retail space Department.

“We look forward to opening a new Decathlon store in one of the most densely populated areas of Kyiv. We will do our best to offer our customers products with the best value for money and a great consumer experience in a new store, as we do in our 1,700 sports hypermarkets around the world. Our new store is located in a high-grade shopping mall and in an ideal location. We highly appreciate cooperation, support and trust with Prospekt shopping mall. This is a new step for Decathlon Ukraine in our quest to make the sport accessible to many,” said Decathlon Ukraine CEO Florent Guillet.

In Prospekt shopping mall, the sport category unites such retail brands as New Balance, ProSport, Puma, Under Armour and Sportmaster.
