Sankt Annen Gallery celebrates 10th anniversary

The shopping center in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, was built by HGHI and has about four million visitors a year.

On August 27 the opening of the shopping mall was exactly ten years ago. The Sankt Annen Galerie offers visitors an exclusive shopping world on two levels with around 45 shops (including C & A, Media Markt, Thalia, Deichmann and Rewe) as well as an extensive range of events: from fashion shows to sports events and concerts.

“The Sankt Annen Galerie with its wide shopping possibilities is an important magnet in our city center and attracts not only citizens from our city, but also many guests from the entire region. Many also go to other downtown shops or linger after shopping in restaurants and cafés. The gallery thus makes a significant contribution to the attractiveness and revitalisation of our inner city and strengthens our function as a regional center,” said Steffen Scheller, Lord Mayor of Brandenburg an der Havel.

“We thank all visitors for their loyalty. Especially in times of online trading, a high visitor frequency is not a matter of course. We can be proud of that. At the same time, this is our obligation to continue to offer an attractive range of retail products and services in combination with a good price-performance ratio”, emphasised Harald Gerome Huth, owner and managing director of HGHI Holding GmbH.

The shopping center celebrates its anniversary on August 30 & 31, 2019.
