RUSTA commissioned B&P Bergmannpartners with its expansion in Germany

With over 30 years of company history and more than 150 locations Rusta developed into an important player in Scandinavia.

The Swedish discounter for home accessoires commissioned B&P Bergmannpartners with the real estate management of its store portfolio and the expansion in Germany.

The mandate includes the development of a general location strategy, the derivation of whitespots, the acquisition, negotiation and conclusion of leases, as well as lease management, including all utilities statements. The Retail-Cloud CIMT by B&P is used for digitization and contract management.

B&P is not just trying to break new grounds technologically, says Fabio Schoenamsgruber from B&P: “In a more conservative industry we can set new impulses with our young team, innovative ideas and ambition.” B&P has become a popular player on the German market in its three-year history by combining data-driven strategy analysis with operative execution due to experienced employees.

Moritz Koenig, Partner at B&P: “Last year, we successfully implemented one of the most ambitious expansion plans in Germany with our partner Eyes+More. It demonstrates how an offline retailer can still achieve great success with a good concept and knowledge of the right locations. RUSTA features the same factors and we look forward to a potent new player in the German retail landscape.”

Rusta plans numerous new openings for the coming year with a focus on the northern half of Germany. The ideal location is characterized by a highly frequented retail market situation with a total area of approx. 2,000 sqm.

Despite its recent history, B&P is already responsible for the expansion of various international retailers in Germany. These include retailers from Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. According to their own information, talks are already taking place with other well-known retailers.
