Consumer’s Trends

What the Consumer Really Wants | Stay well informed on the issues of today and tomorrow!

Whenever consumers face uncertainty, their behavior changes. At present, there are a number of reasons why they are doing so. While retailers have learned to be more innovative during times of uncertainty, guardrails are still needed. One thing is certain: The customer has become even more of a focal point – and not just with respect to his or her consumption preferences, but concerning to all of his or her needs.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has been a shared global experience, each individual’s so-called “consumer journey” throughout the course of this period has been unique. To make issues even more challenging as soon as politicians and society began to adjust and recover, the next shock for consumers and companies came, the war in Ukraine. Doing business in the midst of uncertainty is not a temporary concept for survival, it must be the maxim for action for a long time to come. After all, when consumers’ living conditions change, consumption patterns also change and so does retail.

ACROSS has reviewed and selected current studies, research papers, and variety of publications concerning different dimensions of the retail and real estate sectors. Here you find a list of relevant research on Consumer’s Trends, the topic of our 2nd ACROSS Magazine 2022 issue.
