Rethinking Retail Digitisation in Urban Settings. The Case of Leipzig, Germany

In view of the field of retail economics and urban development, this research portrays digitalization as a key transformative factor in the development and modernization of the retail industry, and in the transformation of urban spaces. Using economic, social, and retail data this study offers an analysis of innovation levels in fast-growing cities; it presents a cluster analysis including 14 of the largest cities in Germany
