Okhta Mall and Pearl Plaza shopping centres awarded

The Russian Council of Shopping Centres (RCSC) awarded Okhta Mall and Pearl Plaza shopping centres, located in St. Petersburg, as the winners of “Operating Shopping Centre”.

Okhta Mall was awarded in the category of “Big shopping centres” and Pearl Plaza in the category of “Medium Shopping Centres”.

The jury consists from the largest foreign and Russian real estate developers, as well as leading consultants and media. The awards demonstrate stability and effectiveness of the shopping centres.

RCSC Awards is the only professional award in Russia in the sphere of shopping centres that comprehensively evaluates facilities in terms of management, technical operation, b2b activities, b2c promotion, as well as their economic model. The aim of the RCSC Awards is to highlight the modern requirements for retail real estate, based on Russian and international experience, and to reward the best implemented concepts of shopping centres.

“The RCSC Awards is a professional and unique event for the Russian market. With this award, we introduce high standards and new level of operation for all market participants,” says Oleg Voitsekhovsky, Managing Director of the Russian Council of Shopping Centres.

“This is already the second year for Pearl Plaza winning the “Best Operating Shopping Centre” award. One of the key winning factors is new and modern management approach in the market,” says Patrik Sjöberg, Regional Director SRV.
