New anchor tenant for the new Quarree

In 2021, the off-price company TK Maxx opens a big store at Quarree in Hamburg’s Wandsbek quarter.

Hunting for the hottest designer pieces and getting a good bargain: this will also be possible at Quarree in Hamburg’s Wandsbek quarter next year. TK Maxx will open its ninth store in Hamburg there, with approximately 2,200 sq m across the first and the second upper floor. TK Maxx’s concept is called off-price. The declared goal is to offer customers the best-possible value for their money.

This retailer embodies a further step towards the new Quarree. Besides its new design, new services, and a new restaurant area, new tenants will also bring further change and new impulses. The Quarree is known for its brand stores as well as accommodating more individual and uncommon concepts.

Czech Republic: Reopening of shopping centres

The great majority of shopping centres should reopen on Thursday 3 December. The footfall and revenue figures show that customers have not given up on visiting shopping centres in the long-term perspective or changed their shopping habits dramatically. Following the reopening after the first wave of the corona crisis, both performance indicators grew again, and revenue even exceeded last year’s figures in a year-on-year comparison. The impact on footfall and turnover was lower in the second wave, with footfall slightly growing in recent weeks. Considering that Christmas is coming, we can expect customers to return to shopping centres quickly as soon as they are allowed to, resulting in an exceptional increase in footfall and revenue.
