NESPRESSO BOUTIQUE TO STEAM UP TOUCHWOOD

Lend Lease Retail Partnership (LLRP), a fund managed by Lendlease, has today announced Nespresso, the market leader in premium portioned coffee, will be opening a new boutique store at Touchwood – the West Midlands top retail destination.

Due to open in November, the brand will be taking up a 2,000 sq ft unit adjacent to Pandora and high-end car brand Tesla. The modern and stylish boutique will join a thriving retail and leisure destination with an average visitor spend of £104. The store will offer Nespresso’s full range of coffee capsules, machines and accessories to enhance the coffee experience. The store design is to be carried out by an in-house team.

With an estimated 55 million cups of coffee consumed per day in the UK, coffee consumption is a booming trend and shows no signs of abating. The new Nespresso boutique will cater to this demand, the increasing popularity of single service coffee pods, and the 30% of UK consumers who now own a coffee pod machine.

Commenting on the addition of Nespresso to Touchwood, Guy Thomas, Head of Retail at Lendlease said:
“We are thrilled Nespresso will be joining Touchwood’s prestigious retail line-up, further cementing the centre’s position as the first choice for West Midlands consumers. As the market leader in premium coffee, we are sure the brand’s boutique concept will be incredibly popular with Touchwood customers.”

Francisco Nogueira, Nespresso UK & Ireland Managing Director, added: “We are delighted to be launching our latest store at Touchwood, a key moment in our expansion across the UK. The centre boasts an affluent catchment and impressive portfolio of aspirational brands and we can’t wait to soon be one of them.”
