NEINVER strengthens Amsterdam The Style Outlets team with two new appointments

Darrell Dundas joins as new Retail Manager and Tessa Morsink as Marketing Manager of the future outlet centre.

NEINVER is growing the Amsterdam The Style Outlets team with two new members. With the autumn opening getting closer, NEINVER has named Darrell Dundas as the centre’s Retail Manager and Tessa Morsink as Marketing Manager. Darrell Dundas has over 10 years’ experience in fashion and retail operations and a strong track record in supporting large retail and outlet developments. Before joining NEINVER, he worked as Retail Executive for McArthurGlen. As new Retail Manager of Amsterdam The Style Outlets, Dundas will be responsible for maximising the retail performance of brand partners within the centre to increase profitability.
Tessa Morsink has over 8 years’ marketing experience in the retail industry. In her new role she will be responsible for positioning the centre as a must-visit destination for both domestic and international customers. She comes to NEINVER after serving at Unibail Rodamco-Westfield as Senior Marketing Manager, where she was responsible for the marketing strategy of the company’s Dutch portfolio.

“We are delighted to grow our team with these two new additions as the opening of the centre is getting near. I’m sure their solid experience and results-driven focus, together with the strong positives of the centre, will firmly contribute to positioning Amsterdam The Style Outlets as a landmark retail destination in the Netherlands, says Marcel Herben, Centre Manager of Amsterdam The Style Outlets.

Amsterdam The Style Outlets, jointly developed by NEINVER and Nuveen Real Estate, is set to open this autumn. Half of the structural works are already completed and building facades are visible. With close to 80% of its GLA already leased, the centre will feature 115 retail units set across 19,000 m², including 1,000 m² planned for restaurants and dining offer. This is the first outlet development in the Greater Amsterdam area, combining a strong catchment area of 12 million people with its proximity to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport and easy access to the Dutch capital and Haarlem. Developed in line with high sustainability standards, the centre has obtained BREEAM New Construction certification in the design phase.
